Deborah Kemper is a teacher trainer in the Suzuki flute method, and has taught on the faculties of Roanoke College, Hollins University and Radford University. She has more than 10 years of advanced pedagogy and performance training with Toshio Takahashi, including a session with him at the Talent Education Institute in Matsumoto, Japan. She has held positions with the Spartanburg Symphony and the Richmond Symphony and toured with the Richmond Sinfonia. Her teachers include Phillip Dunigan, John Wummer, Louis Moyse and Jonathan Snowden. She currently performs with harpsichordist Dr. Erma Rose.
