Yueching Ting
Violin Teacher
Teaching Philosophy
As a teacher and mentor, I strive to inspire and motivate students to enjoy and appreciate the music they create in a stress-free and encouraging environment. To accomplish that, the student must develop a healthy foundation from the first lesson to prevent long-term injuries. With a solid foundation, they can build upon their techniques to learn new concepts and pieces more easily. In addition, it is essential that students eventually learn to become critical thinkers to efficiently problem-solve as they actively listen to and observe their playing to become more independent and better themselves by learning to use their judgment.
