Vivian Mayers
Violin Teacher
Vivian Mayers is a violinist and educator based in Winston-Salem, NC. She specializes in the performance of early music, and holds a Master’s degree in Historical Performance from The Juilliard School. Ms. Mayers studied under Cynthia Roberts and Elizabeth Blumenstock at Juilliard, as well as the renowned violinist Stephanie Chase. She has recently appeared with the Valley of the Moon Music Festival; the Elm City Consort; the Yale Baroque Opera Project; The Sebastians Chamber Players; and Juilliard415, Juilliard’s touring period orchestra. Ms. Mayers is a dedicated teacher and works with violin students of all ages (her current students range from 3 to 60 years old). She has also worked as a classroom teacher, providing general education to third grade students. Ms. Mayers graduated from Yale University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in History.
