I grew up in the Suzuki method, having taking piano lessons since age 4. I always knew I wanted to teach, so as soon as I graduated high school, I went to Greenville, NC and received my teacher-training through apprenticeship from Gretchen Smith, former student of Haruko Kataoka. I have now been teaching for over 20 years! I recently closed my studio in Olympia, WA and moved back home to Virginia, where I will be accepting new students in my home studio in Lynchburg. I have multiple openings and a flexible schedule.
