Mrs. Serena LeDuc

Serena has been teaching violin and viola since 2000. Originally from New York, she studied at the Mannes Conservatory and Aaron Copland School of Music under private violin teachers Barbara Krakauer and Daniel Phillips. Upon moving to Florida in 2007, she met colleagues who introduced her to the Suzuki method and immediately started working with them at the Suzuki Strings of the Nature Coast. She completed Every Child Can in 2007 and, while continuing to teach and study music, did not pursue further Suzuki training while she was raising and homeschooling her four children until recently, when she was able to continue training alongside her son, who will be joining her in teaching in her studio in Spring Hill, Fl. in Fall 2024. Serena has a passion for teaching and loves getting to know each individual child, building a lasting relationship, and watching them grow into mature musicians as well as wonderful people.
