Dr. Sarah Dudas maintains a private violin studio in Redlands, California and regularly teaches at summer Suzuki Institutes in the southwest, including the Los Angeles and San Diego Suzuki Institutes. Previously she maintained her own private studio in Baltimore, Maryland while serving as a substitute instructor at Peabody Preparatory at John Hopkins University.

In addition to teaching, Dr. Dudas performs regularly with orchestras in her area, including the San Bernardino, Riverside, and Redlands Symphonies. Previously she served as a substitute with the Annapolis Symphony, the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, among others in the mid-Atlantic region. She has enjoyed performing with the Oregon Bach Festival under the baton of Helmuth Rilling and spent three years as a violinist with the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera.

Dr. Dudas earned her Bachelors degree from Southern Methodist University as a student of Jan Sloman and her Masters degree from New England Conservatory where she studied with James Buswell. She received her Doctoral of Musical Arts degree from the University of Southern California as a student of Hagai Shaham and Kathy Winkler, where she explored the violin music of Romanian composer, George Enescu. She also completed a doctoral minor in viola performance as student of Pamela Goldsmith.

As a Suzuki teacher, Dr. Dudas remains grateful for those Suzuki teacher trainers with whom she has undergone pedagogical training, and, alongside her traditional studies, have informed her own approach to teaching. Along with being a former Suzuki student and current Suzuki teacher, she also wears the hat of Suzuki parent with her two daughters, a Suzuki violinist and cellist.
