Ryan Donohue
Cello Teacher
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ryan Donohue began his studies as a Suzuki student when he was three years old at the encouragement of his mother, a professional violist. He attended high school at Cincinnati’s School for Creative and Performing Arts, received his bachelor’s degree in cello performance from the University of Cincinnati: College-Conservatory of Music, and has participated in renowned music festivals, such as the Pacific Music Festival, Opera in the Ozarks, the Kent/Blossom Music Festival, and the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival. Mr. Donohue has served as Principal Cellist for the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra, Huntington Symphony Orchestra, and the Blue/Ash Montgomery Symphony Orchestra; he has also performed as a substitute cellist with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Jacksonville Symphony, and Charleston Symphony Orchestra, among many other groups.
