Rebecca Romo
Flute Teacher
Rebecca Romo has been passionate about music from a young age and is an experienced flutist in several genres ranging from Traditional Latin Music to Classical. She has won the piccolo position in the Fort Collins Young Philharmonic, worked with the Macao Chamber Orchestra, Palace Gate Symphony Orchestra, and performed world premiers of pieces by Carter Pann, Haydn Woolf, and “Mr. Tambourine Man” for Pierrot Lunaire Ensemble by John Corigliano. She received her Master of Music Degree in Flute Performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music while studying under Alexa Still. Rebecca currently plays section flute and piccolo in the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra and with chamber groups including Duo Giocoso. She divides her time between performing, teaching, composing and arranging. Most recently, one of her arrangements was featured at the 2018 National Flute Association Convention.
