Meredith Connie studied guitar initially at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Australia, before continuing her music studies, gaining a Masters in Performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a research masters in musicology from the University of Sydney.  Meredith is an Alexander Technique teacher and emphasizes comfort and ease in posture and playing for her students.

An active solo and ensemble performer, Recordings include “Sol Y Sombras” (solo and chamber works) and “Imaginary Landscapes” (as a part of Duo Rubicund).  Her solo recording “Fairy Tales, Monsters and Wild Animals” focuses on the whimsical and child-friendly repertoire and her own compositions. Compositional projects include works for guitar ensembles as well as chamber combinations, expanding the repertoire of guitar and its interactions with other instruments.
