Mary E. Bellows
Harp Teacher
Mary is a passionate musician who enjoys sharing the moving nature of music with her audience. A Utah native, she has performed as a soloist in many private recitals and concerts, and for organizations such as the German American Society of Utah and the International Hume Society. Mary has held the role of Principal Harp in ensembles such as the Utah Youth Symphony, BYU Wind Symphony, and BYU Symphony Orchestra, and is a member of the BYU Audition Harp Ensemble. She has been praised for her “expressiveness” as a performer, and has received recognitions from the American Harp Society Festival and the Utah Suzuki Harp Institute, where she has performed as a soloist and ensemble member in their Honors Recitals. Mary continues to share her passion with others by teaching young harpists as a certified Suzuki Harp teacher and performing as a freelance artist at religious and community events. She is currently a Harp Performance Major at Brigham Young University, where she expects to graduate with a Bachelor of Music degree in the Spring of 2026.
