An experienced traditional and Suzuki cello teacher, Martha Brons’ passion for cello has excited many students. Former students are active in many professions, and some have graduated from the most prestigious music schools with music careers.
Mrs. Brons was awarded the American String Teachers’ South Carolina Studio Teacher of the Year Award in 2008. She was selected by the SC Arts Commission as a Community Tour Artist with the Heritage Chamber Players.
She studied with members of the Philadelphia and Cleveland Orchestras. Her degrees in Cello Performance are from the University of Illinois and the Philadelphia Musical Academy. She has been a faculty member at North Greenville College, SC, and Bob Jones University and Cello Specialist in the Philadelphia Archdiocese Schools.
Now located in West Orange, NJ, Mrs. Brons is able to accept a limited number of students.
