Ms. Lea Marshall
Violin, Viola, Piano, Suzuki Early Childhood Education Teacher
In our musical family, we all sang, played piano and improvised violin parts to go with our vocals. This amazing background led to a top 5 music conservatory, followed by several more years of intense Suzuki training with only top Suzuki teacher trainers who’d studied with Dr. Suzuki. I completed Violin Bks. 1-8, Violin practicum & Piano Bks. 1-7. I also took 6 grad courses in Music Learning Theory, which is based on 70 years of research into how children acquire musical understanding because it’s so vital to help students develop their ears and musicianship alongside technical skills. It fits hand in glove with Suzuki principles. I continue to perform in professional symphonies and accompany countless Solo contests and recitals. This past Fall, we began our 20th year at Marshall Music Studio teaching violin and piano students of all levels. I also love working with groups to achieve high levels of ensemble performance.
