Katie Ekberg

Katie Ekberg is a Twin Cities based violinist, violist, and Suzuki teacher. She is an instructor of Suzuki Violin, Viola, and Suzuki Early Childhood Education at St. Joseph’s School of Music in St. Paul, Minnesota. She received her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance at the Lawrence University Conservatory of Music, and went on to earn her Master of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Delaware where she was the Graduate Violin Teaching Assistant. She is currently serving on the board of the Suzuki Association of Minnesota. A passionate chamber musician, Katie can be heard performing around the Twin Cities with the Bishop String Quartet. Katie is dedicated to creating an engaging and nurturing environment that encourages students to find joy in developing musical ability to their fullest potential.
