From 1989 ’til 2002, when my daughter was born, I’d attended institutes each year at Louisville, Washington, New York, Philadelphia (I have been institute co-director for some of those), and Atlanta.
I returned to Matsumoto in 1992 for continued study with Kataoka and Suzuki.

Since having children, I’ve spent the last several years at institutes, primarily as parent: each summer at Louisville, at Utah, Hartt, Montreal, privately at Bruce Anderson’s home. In 2014 I registered Caroline Frasers’ Sound to Symbol course.
