Ms. Jessica Karp Goodwin

Jessica Karp Goodwin is a native of Tampa, Florida. She started her musical journey as a child, studying violin with Evelyn Pupello, Eileen Tsuzuki, and Esther Glazer. In 1993, Jessica earned a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance from Florida State University, where she studied under the direction of Eliot Chapo. 

Jessica has been teaching violin for 28 years, beginning in Kentucky, at Bowling Green Christian Academy, Western Kentucky University Pre-College Program, and at Centre College. As a certified Suzuki teacher, she has always maintained a private studio, with experience teaching students of all ages. Jessica is grateful to her teaching mentors, Eileen Tsuzuki and Cathy McGlasson.

Jessica has worked as a violinist in the Tallahassee Symphony, and has free-lanced with the The Gainesville Orchestra, and Opera Tampa. Currently, Jessica is a violin instructor at Patel Conservatory and also maintains an active home Suzuki violin studio.
