Jessica Bushkuhl

Jessica Bushkuhl maintains a large private violin studio in Plymouth, MI. Her students are members of school orchestras, youth orchestras, competition winners, and college and community orchestras. Before focusing on performing and private teaching, Jessica spent over a decade as an instrumental and general music educator in schools. In recent years, she has been consulted as a music curriculum writer, educational materials editor, teacher mentor, and in educational outreach programs.

Jessica is in her 10th season as a member of the Jackson Symphony. An experienced orchestral violinist, Jessica has performed with many orchestras in Michigan and Ohio, including acting as concertmaster, principal second, and assistant concertmaster/principal. This season includes concerts with the Lansing Symphony, Ann Arbor Symphony, and Adrian Symphony Orchestra as a supplemental violinist.
