Jeong-Hwa Park received her doctoral and master’s degrees in piano performance from Arizona State University, and Suzuki teacher training from Sheila Keats and Marina Obukovsky at The School for Strings, New York City. Dr. Park has been teaching the Suzuki Piano since 2010. Her teaching skill comes from not only long-time teaching experience but also her performance ability as a performer. She has been actively teaching and performing as a soloist and chamber musician both in the U.S.A and South Korea. She has performed at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, LeFrak Concert Hall at Queens College in New York City as a guest artist, Gammage Auditorium in Tempe, Arizona, as a soloist with the Arizona State University Symphony Orchestra, Katzin Concert Hall in Tempe, Arizona, Museum of Arts in Sun City, Arizona, Masterworks Festival at Houghton College and Dajeon Arts and Cultural Center in South Korea. She also accompanied The National Choir of Korea, gave a lecture-recital at Buam Art Center in Seoul, and participated in the CMS International Conference as one of the presenters. She has won numerous competitions including first prize in the Arizona State University Piano Concerto Competition, first prize in The Joseph and Ida Kletzkin Contemporary Keyboard Competition and a Special Presentation Award from Artists International Presentations in New York.

Dr. Park is a board member of the Associated Music Teachers League (AMTL) and also serves as the Chairperson for the AMTL Winter Musicales. She has served as a judge for various auditions and competitions including CPSM Bach Festival, CPSM Soloist Competition, concerto competition, and AMTL Mid-Season Musicales. Currently, Dr. Park is an adjunct assistant professor at Nassau Community College; serves on the piano faculty & piano department coordinator at the Eisman Center for Preparatory Studies in Music at Queens College; and Suzuki Piano instructor at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music.
