Jeanne Fox
Cello Teacher
Jeanne Fox has been teaching cello since 1980 and is currently accepting cello students from ages 4 up through adult. She can teach students worldwide via online applications, as well as in-person lessons in the Mid-Hudson/Tri-State/New York City regions. She maintains busy studios in both Orange and Dutchess counties in New York, as well as at the SUNY Dutchess Campus in Poughkeepsie (both credit, and non-credit students). She teaches cello for all ages and levels, coaches chamber music and leads masterclasses. Jeanne is an active performer—she is a sub with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic and was previously principal cello with the Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra and the Hudson Opera Theater Orchestra. She founded the Hudson Valley String Quartet which actively performs in the tri-state area. She has a Bachelor of Music from Manhattan School of Music, and a Master of Music from The Juilliard School (Ardyth Alton, Juilliard String Quartet).
