Jayme Eck

Jayme Eck is a freelance cellist, educator, and singer-songwriter based in Fort Worth, Texas. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music (MM) in Cello Performance at TCU where she studies with Dr. Juliette Herlin and works as the graduate teaching assistant for the cello studio. Jayme received her Bachelor of Music (BM) in Cello Performance and a Suzuki Certificate through Book 10 at the University of Denver, Lamont School of Music where she studied with Dr. Matthew Zalkind and Alice Yoo. Jayme works with cellists of all ages, tailoring her pedagogical approach to meet the needs of each individual student. She strives to create a fun, positive learning environment while establishing musical excellence and a strong work ethic. Jayme believes that musical training can be beneficial in all capacities of life, regardless of career path or interests. When she is not playing her cello or teaching, Jayme writes and records songs that can be heard on all major streaming platforms.
