Hannah Murphy

Hannah Murphy is an active soloist and chamber music performer based in New York City. She holds a Master of Music degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Mannes School of Music, where she studied with international concert artist Michael Newman. She achieved her Bachelor of Music degree in Classical Guitar Performance at Rowan University in New Jersey while studying with Joseph Mayes, famed student of Andres Segovia.

Hannah has been a featured performer at the Utah Classical Guitar Society, Lincoln Center, the Mid-Hudson Classical Guitar Society, and the Raritan River Music Residency Program. She is also a passionate guitar teacher with eight years of teaching experience in the Suzuki Guitar Method.
