Mr. Guillermo Teniente
Cello Teacher
Guillermo Teniente has twenty years of experience teaching cello lessons. His cello students have had great success in their cello journey by attaining high chairs in Region Orchestra Competition, Superior rating in both local and State Solo and Ensemble, and a few have received their Bachelors and Masters at major Universities.
Mr. Teniente received his cello training from Stacy Weill at the Vidal M. Trevino Magnet School, Emmanuel Lopez, Professor of Cello at West Texas A&M University, Wesley Baldwin, Cello Professor from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and Dimitri Atapine, Cello Professor from University of Nevada, Reno. Recently, Mr. Teniente has begun his Suzuki training with Dr. Tanya Carey and is looking forward to future Suzuki Trainings.
For the past five years, Mr. Teniente was the Director of Orchestras at Atascocita High School in the Humble ISD. In Fall of 2023, Mr. Teniente will be teaching at Sartartia Middle School in the Fort Bend ISD as the Assistant Director of Orchestras.
