MUSICAL BACKGROUND. Family musical ensemble which performed in Philadelphia, Pa. and surrounding areas on a weekly basis, attended New School of Music, Philadelphia Pa. (studied with Orlando Cole, cellist of the Curtis String Quartet and professor of cello at Curtis): B.A. in cello performance from Michigan State University (studied with Louis Potter, Jr,)
SUZUKI TRAINING: Ithaca College, Ithaca, N.Y.; University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point: Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. TEACHERS: William Starr, Marjory Aber, Mrs. Nakajima, Yvonne Tait, Carole Bigler (piano).
TEACHING EXPERIENCE: Applied cello teacher at Kalamazoo College, Suzuki Studio in Kalamazoo, SAA Teacher Trainer in Brazil, Australia and Calgary. Clinician at many U.S. workshops.
DIRECTORSHIPS: Director of Suzuki Cello Program, Director of Grace Notes cello ensemble, Director of Chamber Music Workshop, Kalamazoo, MI.
ASSOCIATIONS; Past {resident pf Michiana Cello Society, Past President of Stulberg International String Competition, Past President of Kalamazoo Women’s Symphony League, Member SAA, ISA, and ASTA.
