Eric Schroeder graduated from Northern Illinois University where he studied classical guitar with Fareed Haque. He also studied Spanish dance with Lila Dole and Luis Monterro. He accompanies Spanish dance classes. Eric has taken flamenco guitar lessons with Hector Fernandez. He has performed in master classes for Stepan Rak, Vladislav Blaha, and Anne Waller. In 1999, he began teaching Suzuki guitar. Recently Eric wrote 130 Right Hand Studies You Can Dance To, which includes rasgueados, alzapuas and golpes. Currently, he is teaching world music at Northern Illinois University.
