Emily Price

Emily Jane Price earned her Masters degree in Violin Performance under Pamela Frank and Violin Pedagogy under Rebecca Henry, both at the Peabody Conservatory. Soloing with the Utah Symphony at age 12, Price has always loved performing. Her sister love is teaching children. President of the Miss Emily Violin Studio, LLC, servicing dedicated families from the earliest years of music education through the most advanced levels of violin performance, Price's students have given performances at Carnegie Hall, been winners of the American Protege International, Maryland String Music Teacher's Association, and American Fine Arts competitions. Director of Music at Cedarcroft and faculty at Peaobdy, Price teaches Early Childhood Music classes for infants through 6-yr-old children building complete music fluency including audiation of harmonic, tonal and rhythmic patterns in unusual meters and tonalities. Having performed throughout the United States and Europe, Price cherishes the connections made with colleagues and audiences through music.
