Elizabeth Tanenbaum began learning violin through the Suzuki method at the age of 7. Her passion for teaching music started in highschool by volunteering in several local after school music programs in the Allentown School District. By the beginning of college, she became employed by the Allentown Symphony as a teaching artist in their El Sistema of the Lehigh Valley music program.

Elizabeth is a graduate from the Berklee College of Music and holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Music Studies. She is also certified in teaching the Suzuki Violin Method through books 1 to 5, and is still continuing training to complete all 10 books. Her philosophy towards teaching is that most people are able to learn music under the right environment and circumstances. Realizing and understanding that each student may learn music in a different way is important in every lesson that she holds.
