Mrs. Dorothy Shorter

Dorothy Shorter received her long term Suzuki training at the School for Strings in New York City under the tutelage of Miss Louise Behrend.
Ms. Shorter is currently the String Coordinator at the Lawrence Eisman Center for Preparatory Studies in Music at CUNY,Queens College, In addition, she is a violin/viola instructor at the North Shore Suzuki School in StonyBrook, Long Island, the Music Institute of Long Island and Kellenberg Memorial High School.
She is committed to imparting the philosophy of the Suzuki method to all her students.
