Dave Carbonara
Cello, Bass Teacher
Dave is an active teacher and performer on cello and bass. He teaches private lessons in Minneapolis, St. Paul and Hastings. He has played the cello for over 40 years and has been teaching it for 25. His cello teaching background includes teaching the low strings (cello and bass) methods course at Southeastern Louisiana State University, cello lessons in many public and private school programs in addition to his private cello studio. Prior to moving to Minneapolis, Dave played bass full time with the Louisiana Philharmonic in New Orleans. He has taught bass lessons for many years and was also on the faculty of Tulane University, Southeastern University, University of New Orleans and University of Louisiana Lafayette. Dave received his Bachelor and Master degrees in music from Juilliard.
