Darcy Noonan

I began studying Suzuki violin at age 5 with the amazing Annemarie Sudermann. As a young adult I fell in love with the community and folklore of Irish music. I was lucky the solid technique and powerful ear that Suzuki training had given me allowed me to easily adopt this new style of playing. This obsession moved me to Ireland at age 18 to be fully steeped in the tradition. After many years of loyal devotion to Irish trad I find myself back in my hometown gigging and teaching a new generation of violinists.
