Mr. Codi Wartenbach

Codi Wartenbach is a cellist, violist, and composer in North Houston, Texas. He has studied cello for 14+ years, viola for 3+ years, and composition for 2 years. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor’s degree in music education in 2019, where he took lessons in cello, viola, and composition. Codi has been with the Ethos School of Music since 2021, where he regularly teaches private cello and viola lessons, group classes on theory and ear training, and performs as part of the Ethos Chamber Players group in the Woodlands area.

His warmth and passion for sharing music with those around him brings a special energy to his teaching. Codi identifies strongly with the supportive and nurturing approach of the Suzuki Method. His goal as an educator is to foster a positive and supportive environment that allows young musicians to expand their talent and love for music.
