Charity Lanctot Decker
Violin Teacher
Charity started studying Suzuki violin at the ripe young age of 2 and has played ever since.
She graduated from The University of New Mexico in 2015 with her degree in String pedagogy, studying under the renowned Susan Kempter and having received her Suzuki long-term training.
She has taught Suzuki violin for 11 years.
Charity has had a love of teaching and working with children since she was a young teen. She believes studying music is about more than passing pieces off; it’s about learning you can do hard things, believing in yourself, learning how to control your body and your mind and learning that when you consistently work on something, you can master it.
