Ms. Angela Mullins

Angela Mullins is a private violin, viola and music theory teacher in Manhattan Beach, CA.  A native of Australia, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Technology, Sydney and was a merit scholar in violin at the Conservatorium of Music, Sydney, under renowned strings pedagogue Alice Waten. Angela was a 5 year member of the Sydney Youth Orchestra.  She is a Registered Suzuki teacher and member of the American String Teacher’s Association, the Suzuki Music Association of California, Los Angeles and the Suzuki Association of the Americas. Angela is a founding teacher of the Royal Conservatory of Music examination program in the USA.
She has been involved in various aspects of the music business including International Marketing positions for Sony/BMG, Village Roadshow and Geffen Records.  An avid composer, Angela has completed coursework in conducting, music history and composition at UCLA.
Since settling with her husband and two children in the South Bay, Angela has often been an energetic and enthusiastic guest string orchestra teacher in Manhattan Beach Public Schools.
