Ms. Amy Lauro

Amy Lauro enjoys teaching students of all ages for both group and private lessons in guitar, voice and piano at her home studio. She believes in tailoring lessons to meet the needs and musical interests of the individual student. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Houston and has over 30 years of teaching experience. Amy integrates her experiences of performing and teaching all musical styles classical, jazz, pop, and rock-n-roll to ensure students enjoy learning at every lesson. Her teaching style is relaxed and creative incorporating all the fundamental music skills needed for student success such as note reading, music theory, and ear training to help each student become a successful musician. Amy is an active performer in the Houston area and a member of Bayou City Federated Music Club.
