Amy Carwile
Violin Teacher
Amy has been teaching violin for 25 years. She owns and operates a private violin studio which has twice been awarded “Studio of the Year” by the American String Teachers Association. Amy is a certified Suzuki and O’Connor Method instructor. She studied string pedagogy at Oberlin Conservatory and the Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University, and has been a guest instructor at Berklee School of Music, Boston, Massachusetts, and the Blair School of Music, Vanderbilt University. In addition to being a passionate educator, Amy has performed on the Grand Ole Opry and venues across the United States, Canada, and Europe. She has garnered fiddle championships in over 10 states and British Columbia. Amy enjoys hiking, reading, and gardening when she is not teaching.
