Mrs. Alissa Diaz

Are you ready to learn music in a fun way? My name is Alissa Diaz and I started playing the violin at age four. I love working with kids and showing them how playing an instrument can be enjoyable. I believe that small steps, positive rewards, appropriate expectations,and a fun environment are the crucial components for everybody’s success.

I earned my Bachelor in Violin Performance and Master in Violin Performance from Atlantic Union College and Longy School of Music in Massachusetts. Since then I was trained in teaching Suzuki and had a full studio teaching violin, viola, cello, and orchestra in the states of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Currently I am a music teacher in the Dayton area and would love to be able to share my music passion with you!
