Julie Bamberger Roubik

Julie Bamberger Roubik teaches Suzuki Viola/Violin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She holds a BM summa cum laude, from the University of MN and a MM from the Hartt School of Music, in viola performance/Suzuki pedagogy. Julie is a an active member of the Racine, Kenosha and Festival City Symphonies as well as a backup musician for recording artists such as Brad Little, Lorna Luft, Rita Coolidge, Keiko Matsui and Philip Dizack. She works closely with local school string programs to advocate for the viola and supports them through group lessons and sectionals. Committed to lifelong learning, she is currently pursuing certification at the Dalcroze School of the Rockies. Outside of her musical life, Julie has appeared on the TV show “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” and was the runner-up on NPR’s quiz show “Ask Me Another.” She can usually be found curled up with a book and one of her six guinea pigs.
