Linda Case is a Teacher Trainer for the SAA and is on the faculty of the School for Strings in Manhattan, NY where she offers a 2 year Teacher Training program. Linda studied with Josef Gingold at Indiana University where she received her Bachelor of Music Performance degree. She received her Master of Music Performance degree at the University of Tennessee studying with William Starr. Dr. Starr introduced Linda to the Suzuki Method in 1974 which started her Suzuki pedagogy training. She is most grateful to have received his wisdom and experience and was able to teach in the Knoxville Suzuki program as her first teaching experience. Linda served as concertmaster of the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra in Ithaca, NY for 33 years and also taught on the faculties of Ithaca College, Eastman School of Music, Cornell University and Mount Royal Conservatory in Alberta. Linda’s life continues to be enriched by music and the beautiful students that study with her.
