Frances Green is the President and founder of Greenville Suzuki Strings Association, an organization formed in 1997 to promote the establishment of a strings program in Greenville, Texas. Having been the Suzuki “home teacher” for her daughter for fourteen years, attending two International Conferences, twenty or more Suzuki Institutes and SAA Biennial Conferences, she has been associated with the Suzuki Method as a parent and supporter since 1975. While taking her daughter to Dallas for lessons Frances dreamed of having a Suzuki strings program in Greenville available to all who wished to participate. This dream became a reality, gathering the support first of the community and then the public schools. The Greenville Suzuki Strings Association provides funds for instruments so that every Suzuki student in the Greenville public schools is provided an instrument at no cost.
Frances is a graduate of Southern Methodist University earning a degree in Elementary Education .
