Nurtured by Love Revised Edition is now available from your local retailer and from the SAA online store.

Now in a new translation, this book is Shinichi Suzuki’s exploration of the concepts of his Talent Education philosophy through a personal narrative of discovery and experiences.

Taken from the original Japanese text and translated directly into English by Kyoko and Lili Selden, this new work provides fascinating insight into the mind of the master. Both the original Nurtured by Love and Nurtured by Love Revised Edition are a must for any teacher, player, or devotee of Dr. Suzuki’s teachings, and promise to inspire new generations.

Violin Book 6 Revised

The revised edition for Suzuki Violin School Volume 6 will be in stores in early March. Like the other revised violin books, the music has been edited by the International Violin Committee. Titles include: La Folia (A. Corelli/S. Suzuki), Sonata No. 3 in F Major, HWV 370 (G. F. Handel), Allegro (J.-H. Fiocco), Gavotte (J. Ph. Rameau), Sonata No. 4 in D Major, and HWV 371 (G. F. Handel). The CD was recorded by William Preucil, Concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra, with piano accompaniment by Linda Perry. The violin book is available as the book alone or packaged with the CD. The accompaniment book, also newly-edited, will be available by the end of March. It contains only book 6 and is not part of the old Accompaniment Book B. The revised edition can be easily identified by the subtitle, “Revised Edition”, and the AMPV number of 1.0 on the title page.
