If my violin could speak
it would say,
“My Kennedy you make lovely music
when you focus and play.
When my strings are in tune
with rosin on my bow,
I’m ready to perform with you
at your recital show.
Please be gentle
and try not to drop me,
because if you do
my music will not be pretty.
I love when we practice,
sometimes I play squeaks,
to show you what’s wrong
so you can improve each week.”
If my violin could speak
it would say,
“You and I will make history
one beautiful day.”
