Sarah Lang began studying Suzuki violin at the age of ten with Joanne Bath. Sarah attended Furman University for undergraduate school, where she studied music (violin and voice) as a Daniel Music Scholar. After obtaining her master’s degree in music education / music therapy from East Carolina University, she worked as a music therapist. Several years later, she obtained a graduate certificate in Suzuki Pedagogy.
For seventeen years, Sarah taught Suzuki violin in Greenville, NC, where she was a frequent performer and workshop clinician. During that time, Sarah published articles in the American Suzuki Journal and taught at Suzuki Institutes and camps across the southeastern United States.
In 2013. Sarah moved to Fargo, where she had a studio and performed professionally with the Fargo Moorhead Symphony Orchestra.
In 2020, Sarah moved to Cary, NC. She maintains a private Suzuki violin studio and is seeking new students!
