I began my violin studies at age five, as a Suzuki child, and started playing the viola during my undergraduate years. I have been teaching for over ten years, in both Texas and California, and love what I do. My education includes a BM in violin performance and a Master of Liberal Arts degree, both earned from Houston Baptist University. I have completed Suzuki training with Andrea Cannon, Peggy Ann Crow, Judy Offman, Cathy Lee, Beth Titterington, Sharon Jones, and Dorothy Jones. When not fiddling around I am spending time with my husband and three children.
