Satoko Umaoka Oshima
Satoko Oshima started playing the violin with the Suzuki Method at age nineteen while she was pursuing BA in political science at Capital University (Columbus, OH). She then came back to US for teacher training with Dr. Louise Scott and Ms. Karin Hallberg of Northern Arizona University. She now holds master of music in violin performance with an emphasis in Suzuki Pedagogy and master of education in secondary education with certification emphasis, both degrees from Northern Arizona University. She is currently a busy mom of two-year-old twin daughters.
