Rhea Edelman

Rhea Edelman is the Executive Director and Chair of Strings at the Suzuki Music Institute of Dallas where she maintains a thriving violin studio.  Dr. Edelman earned her DMA in Violin Performance at the University of North Texas and  her M.M. in Violin Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Raised as a Suzuki violinist, she has now added the third side of the triangle as a Suzuki parent. In addition to modern violin, Rhea has a related field degree of Early Music and performs both modern and Baroque violin with various groups including the American Baroque Opera company and the Abilene Philharmonic. Rhea is also a competitive equestrian and enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children.
