Oscar Soler

Oscar Soler

Oscar Soler is a native of Caracas, Venezuela. He was appointed to the faculty of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD Suzuki Strings program in 2016 where he teaches students using the Suzuki method. Mr. Soler has taught in workshops and institutes both nationally and internationally. He served on the board of directors of the Suzuki Association of the Americas from 2017 to 2020. He earned a Bachelor of Music, and a Master of Music degree in violin performance and Suzuki pedagogy from the Cleveland Institute of Music. Oscar became a registered SAA teacher trainer in 2020. Most recently, he earned the recognition as a National Board Certified Teacher in 2024. He studied with Paul Kantor and Kimberly Meier-Sims.
