Morganne Aaberg

Morganne Aaberg has been an active Suzuki teacher since 2010, and currently teaches privately in Bloomington, Indiana. Previously, Morganne served on faculty at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, Diller-Quaile School of Music, Cuyahoga Community College’s Orchestra Program, Cleveland Institute of Music’s Sato Center for Suzuki Studies, and Indiana University’s String Academy. Morganne has also taught at several summer festivals, including Midsummer Sound (Barrie, Ontario), Young Artists Exchange (Sydney and Adelaide, Australia), and the Meadowmount School of Music (Westport, NY), where she served as teaching assistant to Dr. Ann Setzer (Juilliard/Mannes).

Morganne has presented original research at the American Educational Research Association Annual Meeting, the American String Teachers Association National Conference, the Big Ten Academic Alliance Music Education Conference, and the Oxford Symposium on the History of Music Education. She has published research in the Journal of Historical Research in Music Education and the String Research Journal (in press).
