Mariana Moretzsohn Duarte
Mariana Moretzsohn is a Brazilian piano and SECE (Suzuki Early Childhood Education) teacher. She started her Suzuki teacher training process in 2015 and fell in love with Suzuki’s philosophy. Mariana has taken Suzuki teacher training courses with Shinobu Saito, Renata Pereira, Flor Canelo, Lynn McCall, Wan Tsai Chen, Caroline Fraser and Sharon Jones. She was the first teacher to hold a long term SECE program in Brazil, along with her mother Ana Maria Moretzsohn. Together, they opened the first Suzuki studio in Vila Velha, ES in 2016 (Centro Suzuki de Educação Musical—Vila Velha). Mariana also has a degree in Psychology and is currently specializing in Neuroeducation and Learning Processes. In her free time, Mariana enjoys reading and playing with her cats. She also loves working with translation whenever she has the time to.
