Diane Slone

Diane Slone, one of the first students to begin lessons with Dr. Suzuki in the U.S., has been active in Suzuki Talent Education for most of her life as a student, teacher, administrator, and parent. Diane has served as a presenter at SAA conferences and leadership retreats and as guest faculty at conferences, institutes and workshops throughout the US, Asia and Europe. Co-founder of the East Cleveland Rainbow Suzuki Strings and founder of the Blue Hills Suzuki Project, one of Diane’s passions is bringing Dr. Suzuki’s philosophy and method to underserved populations. Since 2015, Diane has been Director of Suzuki Music Academy of Hong Kong (SMAHK), where she is excited to have established “MusiCares Outreach Team”, a student-led Community Service group comprised of SMAHK Secondary Student musicians.
