Diane Briscoe
Diane Briscoe grew up in northern Ontario, then moved to Europe and studied piano and accompanied ballet for several years at the “Conservatoire régional de Lorient” in France. Upon returning to Canada she completed an ARCT degree (piano pedagogy—Royal Conservatory of Music) and a Master of Music at the University of Ottawa, Ontario. Her articles on piano pedagogy have been published in several journals including the American Suzuki Journal, Clavier Companion, and the Music Educators Journal. In 2003 she was a founding faculty and Treasurer of the SuzukiPiano Association of Ottawa/Gatineau until 2020 when she relocated to Deux-Montagnes, Quebec.
