We were eager to unwind, relax, and share our ideas after a long day of classes.

Jillienne Bowers (violin/viola) earned her Bachelor of Music from Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, Maryland, studying with violinist, Charles Libove. She continued her studies at Boston University earning her Masters of Music in Performance under the direction of Raphael Druian. Subsequent teachers include Camilla Wicks, Paul Kantor, and Kirk Toth. She has been a core member of the Toledo Symphony Orchestra for the past thirty years as fourth chair first violinist. As an educator, Jillienne is an advocate of early childhood music education and has registered training in all the Suzuki Books, 1-10. She advocates Suzuki’s philosophy to her many private students of all ages.
