Outdoor Concert

Community Music School of Pittsburgh has done a series of monthly outdoor concerts beginning in July and continuing through October of 2020. This picture is from our July performance near a Farmer’s Market in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Children performed solos and duets on keyboard, flute, and strings. We are planning an outdoor workshop for May 22 and 23, 2021.

Katherine Monsour Barley, better known as Kiki, has been involved in Suzuki education for more than 45 years as a piano teacher, teacher trainer, Suzuki parent and grandparent, workshop and institute clinician, director of a music school, and now director of the Greater Pittsburgh Suzuki Institute. She teaches about 30 piano students each week and continues to offer teacher training courses.
